STATE REP. KOVACH PARTICIPATES IN SIGN-WAIVING EVENT TO SLOW DOWN TRAFFIC IN SCHOOL ZONES

State Representative Tom Kovach joined forces with 21st Century Insurance and Financial Services employees Tuesday morning (August 31st) in front of Springer Middle School to help kick off a traffic safety program, known as 21st SafetyZone.

Rep. Kovach, along with New Castle County Councilman Bob Weiner (not pictured), held safety signs along Shipley Road, prior to the start of school in order to remind drivers to slow down while traveling in a school zone.

Other Brandywine schools targeted as part of the traffic safety program included Lancashire Elementary, Concord High and Talley Middle Schools.
